Picpoul de Pinet, Domaine Racine, Languedoc, France

Floral and enticing on the nose, exuberantly fresh on the palate with pear drop fruit, a characteristic marine edge and underlying minerality. This is an incredibly fruity and concentrated wine.

El Salvaje Blend de Blancs, Casa de Uco, Uco Valley, Argentina (V)

The blend is ripe, tropical fruit laden sauvignon blanc in the main, with torrontes, Argentina's signature white grape, and chardonnay adding structure and a freshening citrus twist.

Excellent value modern French wine with a wonderfully soft texture and smooth tannins. Good on its own, great with food.

Robust, punchy red. It has a strong, complex aroma of dark cherry and violets with a hint of smoke and white pepper.

Ripe redcurrant flavours fill the palate and the finish is vibrant and rounded. Great young Rioja.

Rioja Crianza Sancho Garces, Bodegas Patrocinio, Spain

This wine honours Sancho Garces, King of the Kingdom of Najera, which incorporated part of La Rioja Alta in the 10th century. Bright and clean, cherry-red. Creamy notes of black fruit are combined with spicy aromas and slight toasting.

Passitivo Primitivi, Paulo Leo, Puglia, Italy

Made using a portion of dried grapes to add a rich concentrated complexity to the wine. There is wonderful depth of flavour to this wine, with damsons, southern herbs and liquorice to the fore, with a hint of spice to the finish.

Malbec Reserva, Gouguenheim, Mendoza, Argentina

Deep purple colour with aromas of red fruits, chocolate and coffee beans, bursting with red and black cherry flavours and a delicate floral aroma. Warming and powerful with extended ageing in American oak. Patricio Gouguenheim left his finance job in Buenos Aires to make his dream wines in the shadow of the Andes.

Intense, bitter-cherry fruit which is enhanced by an enticing perfumed aroma redolent of violets. Very muscular in style, yet with supple tannins. Great balance of rich, intense black fruit and dense, smoky, spice texture.

Delightfully appealing, with subtle summer fruits on the nose and a bursting palate of peach, strawberry and mineral notes.

Foxcover White Zinfandel, California 

Bursting with vibrant red berry and summer fruits. Its refreshingly low alcohol level allows a little sweetness to remain in the wine resulting in a fruit driven off dry finish.
